Ceramic Tiles Care and Maintenance

Ceramic and porcelain tiles will scratch if mistreated.

Ensure all wax and grout residue is removed after laying. This type of residue can be difficult to see, inevitably attracting grease and dirt.

Clean tiles with a recommended grout cleaner, always following manufactures instructions.

DO NOT use hydrochloric acid to clean.

DO NOT use abrasive cleaners and chemicals which could permanently scratch and damage the surface.

Vinyl Care and Maintenance

Vinyl plank will scratch if mistreated.

Ensure care is taken when furniture is placed on or moved around on vinyl to eliminate damage.

DO NOT use abrasive cleaners and chemicals which could permanently scratch and damage the surface.

Regular Daily Cleaning

• Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove dust, dirt and grit.
• Mop with a small amount of neutral mild detergent and or a few drops of vinegar with warm water.
• Mop again with clean water to remove any excess cleaning solution.
• Dry floor with cloth or towel.

In large traffic areas, the use of mats at entries and in front of benches will help reduce the possibility of scratching.
